SellaRonda Skimarathon 2020, the most important night time ski mountaineering race will not take place due to the Corona Virus health emergency.

The day after the new government decree, the Organization Committee of the SellaRonda Skimarathon, coordinated by the Mountain Guide Oswald Santin has had to surrender and cancel the 25th edition planned to take place on the 27thMarch.
“In spite of the great passion – Santin said – that all Sellaronda athletes have, of the hundreds of volunteers, of the members of the Organization Committee and all the sponsors supporting this event, unfortunately we find ourselves having to cancel the 25thSellaRonda Skimarathon.
A very difficult decision but we are forced to due to the current Italian health situation which has come up and the relative government decrees which forbid any sporting event of this size to take place”.
“From Apri l- Santin has announced – it will be possible to ask for a partial refund (2/3) of the costs of registration. We will publish the procedures on our website www.sellaronda.it on the registration page only after the 20th March”.
“In this 2020 – Santin concluded – International ski mountaineering suffers another forced stop, and such a popular event like the SellaRonda Skimarathon will be sorely missed!”
